Doug Pilley brings almost two decades of marketing, advertising and corporate communications experience to Ethicom. In his first decade he honed his craft in an advertising agency that garnered regional awards in TV, radio, newspaper and print advertising. In his second decade he worked as creative director and senior copywriter for International Family Entertainment, Inc., the parent company of The Family Channel, Fit TV, Ice Capades and the Great American Music Company. He has exercised his strategic thinking and marketing savvy to launch new networks and national products, create national and international business-to-business campaigns and generate national consumer and trade promotions with special emphasis on developing new markets. His advertising philosophy is to identify the problem, think it through carefully and then present surprising, yet logical solutions. His latest accomplishment is the publication of two original short stories in the volumn entitled In Good Company. Dougs educational background includes a B.A. in English from the College of William and Mary where he graduated cum laude and an M.A. in English from Old Dominion University. |
